About us
Pelotista is a booking platform for tennis and padel training. Players and parents use it to compare and book training camps, academy programs and private coaching at partner clubs in Spain and the United States.
We started in Valencia, Spain, in 2022. Each program on the site is delivered by a named academy or club. We handle the search, comparison, booking, payment and support around it. We also arrange our own programs with partner venues that you can't book anywhere else.
Who we are
We are Gary Tarakanov and Sergio Dronov, and we founded Pelotista in Valencia, Spain, in 2022. Our aim is to give visiting players the level of service that Spanish clubs rarely offer. That means clear communication, someone who takes responsibility when plans change, and programs designed for travelling players rather than local members.

What we do
Tennis and padel training programs
Group training, private lessons, holiday camps and intensive weekly programs for adults, juniors and kids at every level from beginner to advanced. Each program page shows its venue, schedule, audience, level and price before you book. When your payment goes through, your booking is confirmed.
PRO Academy tracks for competitive juniors
Intensive competitive training for juniors and kids who play tournaments. You don't have to be a professional to join, and each program sets its own entry requirements.
Training with accommodation
Some programs include a place to stay. Others can be paired with a named hotel or residence near the venue. We list real, identifiable places only. We don't sell hotel rooms on their own. See, for example, tennis training with accommodation in Spain.
Help when nothing fits
If there's no bookable program for your destination or dates, send us an availability request. We reply within one business day.
Online training
We also sell online tennis courses, video analysis and fitness services. You can buy them on their own or alongside a training program. They're delivered by email.
What we don't do
- We don't add a booking fee. The program price is the price you pay.
- We don't coach players ourselves or pretend to be the club. Every program names the academy or club that runs it, with its real address.
- We don't sell stand-alone hotel stays.
Why book with us
Most Spanish clubs are built around their local members. The courts and coaching can be excellent, but service for visiting players often isn't.
You may get slow or Spanish-only replies, schedules that change without warning, and nobody who takes charge when something goes wrong. Many visitors tell us they felt lost.
We're here to fix that part of the trip.
Programs you can only book with us
We design and arrange our own programs with partner venues. Some combine coaching, match play, fitness and accommodation in one package. You can't book them directly with the club, because they exist only as our programs.
We manage your booking from start to finish
Plans change, especially outdoors. If rain or wind cuts into your training, we move your sessions, arrange makeup sessions or move padel indoors where possible. Your program page, dates and payments stay in one place. You don't have to chase the club yourself.
We're on your side
If something isn't right with a session, a coach, a schedule or a venue, tell us. We deal with the venue for you and work to put it right, whatever the problem is.
One English-speaking team
You deal with one team, in English, by email or WhatsApp, before and during your trip. The same people who took your booking also handle your changes and questions.

The site is in English, and so is our support.
How booking works
- Choose a program. Browse by sport, destination or venue. Every program page shows the venue, schedule, level, audience and price.
- Pick your options. Choose dates, duration or package, then add the player's details.
- Pay online. Pay by card through Stripe or Redsys, or with PayPal. Some programs take a 30% deposit at booking, with the balance due before the start date.
- Get your confirmation. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through, and we email you a confirmation.
- Train. The venue's coaches run the sessions. For bookings, changes and questions, you talk to us.
Cancellation: private classes can be cancelled free of charge more than 24 hours ahead. Group programs can be cancelled up to 7 days before the start without losing the deposit. See the full cancellation policy.
